With the first anniversary of Dave's passing I was sitting and thinking alot of all the people that have been taken from us over the last couple of years. Dimebag, Dave, and many more great people lost to us forever except in the hearts of those that loved them.
I would like to start the rumor that we should look into taking the great outpour of love that went into the benifit show for dave last fall and make it an annual event to help the family Dave left behind.
I know I have still been getting alot of requests for the bracelets that many of us still wear to this day and I am working on getting them up for sale on this site and all proceeds will go to Steph and the kids.
If you are a band that would like to perform at this years benifit please contact me and lets see if we can get this going again and who knows....maybe we can get the Soldiers and VNB to show up again.
Lets just never forget what Dave meant to everyone and keep his spirit alive.

Andy and Mick from the Soldiers of Scrape made a new tribute song for Dave called "My Friend". This song is available for download audio download section. Keep your eyes on the Soldiers web site, they are laeving on tour and heading for the west coast.

The benifit has been and gone, what a turnout. Dave would have been proud. If the measure of a man is how he is remembered after he is gone, then Dave was truely a man among men. Special thanks to S.O.S., Pillowblock, Forsaken, and V.N.B. for performances on this special night.

New photos from the benifit show are in the process of being added currently. Recordings of the V.N.B. show will be made available in the Sounds section as well as streaming video of the two songs that were performed by V.N.B. will be up soon.
We will have to see what happens now, but it is my hopes that we will be able to get togeather again next year on the anniversary of our friend and brother being taken from us.

This site will be going through massive changes in the comming weeks as new content is made available. Please check the benifits page for information of the benifit concert.
All music that was recorded by Dave will be made available for download in the next few days. All recordings of Violent New Breed, including studio tracks, live performances, interviews, as well as out takes. There will be copies of the live soundboard recordings of Rapture as well as testimonials from anyone that knew dave.
If you would like your testimonial added to the list, until the site is completed please send your comments, name and how you knew dave to the webmaster.
In addition to the benifit concert TripsTribute.com will be offering memorial bracelets with "R.I.P. Brother Dave" embossed into a silicone bracelet. All proceeds from the sales of bracelets and T-Shirts at the benifit concert will go directly to Dave's family.
Everybody in the local club scene as well as anyone attending a rock concert in Michigan in the last 10 years has seen him, many of you have partyed with him. Its time to remember Trip the way he deservs to be remembers. As a Father, a Brother, and as a Friend.
